Interac Flash® Debit Cards
Cornerstone Credit Union now has NEW Interac Flash® ®Member Cards for our members. The new cards have a new design that is unique to Cornerstone Credit Union as well as the latest Interac Flash technology!
Interac Flash® service allows you to conveniently and securely make smaller everyday purchases at select merchants without having to insert your card or enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Simply hold your card in front of a reader which supports the Interac Flash® service, and a beep and/or “approved” message on the terminal will confirm that your transaction is complete. Your purchase is automatically debited from the account you normally use for debit card transactions.
As an additional layer of security, whenever the spend limit for Interac Flash® transactions is reached, you will be prompted to enter your PIN, to validate that you are the legitimate cardholder. CLICK HERE to learn more about the security features of Interac Flash
Interac Flash® service is a fast and convenient way to pay for everyday purchases at the point-of-sale. Interac Flash® technology is built using the highest security available for contactless payments protecting it from electronic pickpocketing attacks.

®Member Card Usage Tip
When it comes to ®Member Card debit card renewals, ®Member Card debit cards will not be renewed if the card has not had any transaction activity for a period of 7 months or more. Extended periods of inactivity may result in the card expiring without notice. It is a good practice to conduct a transaction (ie: ATM withdrawal, point of sale purchase, etc) with your card every few months to ensure it remains active.® MEMBER CARD is a registered trade-mark owned by Canadian Credit Union Association, used under license.
